Dear Friends,
God has continued to bless us with opportunities to share the Gospel this past month. We are continuing to make many new contacts and God seems to give us favor with everyone we meet.
Rev. Dick Christenson, founder of Christian Centers International, visited us in Arequipa and spoke at the pastor’s meeting. What an encouragement he was for the pastors who are praying for the school to open here soon! Rev. C also visited our facility in Rurrenabaque, Bolivia to teach a class and encourage the Bible College there. You may remember that we still operate the Bible School there under the direction of national pastors, Deysi and Franz Caprilles.
We just finished hosting a team from Colorado. What a blessing they were to the people here as they worked in one of the orphanages. They did amazing work in building some much needed new rooms. They put in walls, tiled floors, painted, repaired and cleaned. I know the 60 kids at the orphanage hated to see them go because they became so attached to them in such a short time.
In less than 2 weeks we will be back in the U.S. for our visit. We really hope to see everyone while we are there.
This will be a bit shorter than some of our visits because we have so much to do here in Peru. It is getting harder and harder to go back to the U.S. and leave the work that we are doing. Please email us if you want to visit with us while we are in the U.S.
This week we had an evangelist from Brazil with us. What a wonderful man of God! We held meetings and healing services at night. We saw deaf ears opened and people walk from their wheel chairs, but the greatest miracle was that 12 people gave their hearts to the Lord.
Please keep us in your prayers this month as we travel. Pray for the work in Bolivia as well as Peru. Also pray for Wayne and Judy Wagler. The Waglers are going to be a part of the Bible College but they just found out that their daughter-in-law has thyroid cancer and she has a baby less than a year old.
Thank you so much for your financial support and especially your prayers this month. We experienced our strongest earthquake since we have been here so I know your prayers are important. You guys make it possible for us to share God’s love here and you are appreciated so very much. Hope to see you soon.
