Dear Friends,
What an enjoyable month this has been! We have had so many ministry opportunities. We have been preaching in churches and minister’s meetings. We have taught Bible classes in homes and language schools. We have ministered to families and seen lives change. God is so good!
We sponsored an event in the poor area known as Peruarbo during February also. There are so many poor people there. They do not even have indoor toilets or running water. We partnered with a missionary from Lima to buy and distribute gifts from Samaritan’s Purse. More than 120 children received gifts. You should have seen their faces when they opened the packages. Before receiving their gifts the children and their families enjoyed a program that presented the Gospel message. In this program the children learned that the “best” present they could ever receive is Jesus Christ.
Jose and Katia Alegria are joining us in Arequipa this week. Please pray for them as they step out in faith to help us with the Bible Institute. They will be full-time missionaries living with us.
We have teams arriving this week and throughout the next month. It is going to be a busy time for us before we travel to the U.S. Our flight is scheduled for April 15, so please pray for our safety in travel. For about 2 ½ months we will be itinerating in the U.S. to raise support to start the Bible Institute so we would really appreciate extra prayers during that time.
